The Boston Run Show: TARC's "New England Trail Running" Feature
Boston Run Show Details:
The 2024 Boston Run Show is being held at the Hynes Convention Center on Saturday and Sunday, January 27 & 28, and it is the home for runners, no matter how far or fast you go. The show brings together inspirational speakers, expert coaches, running clubs and events, running product brands, and more. If you love all things running, the 2024 Boston Run Show is for you.
TARC is excited to be one of the partners of the show and be involved through leading morning shakeout runs, hosting panel discussions, presenting several engaging workshops on running related topics, and having our booth be the "New England Trail Running" feature of the expo.

"The Power of Community" Panel Discussion:
TARC's board member, Patrick Caron, will be leading this panel discussion on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. on the Trail & Ultra Stage, discussing the power and importance of community within the world of running, and the impact of community regarding the inclusivity and accessibility of the sport. The panel will include representatives from the Boston Bulldogs Running Club, Trail Sisters, Pride on Foot, and other leaders within their local running communities.
Moderator:
Patrick Caron (he/him/they/them), Trail Animals Running Club: Patrick is the Director of Marketing and the TARC Trail Series for the Trail Animals Running Club, an organization that aims to act as community stewards by providing equitable access to trail running and promoting positive trail running culture through free group runs and low cost races from 5K to 100+ miles.
Panelists:
Meaghan Langlois (she/her/hers), Boston Bulldogs Running Club: Meaghan is the Director of Programs and Outreach for the Boston Bulldogs Running Club, an organization whose mission is to provide an anonymous and safe community of support for all those adversely affected by addiction. This includes those in recovery, their families and friends, the clinical community, and the community at large. They host weekly runs at multiple locations around Massachusetts and they also direct the annual Boston Bulldogs Run for Recovery 5K & Tribute at Franklin Park in Boston.
Hillary Li (she/her/hers), Trail Sisters: Hillary co leads Trail Sisters Boston, the Boston chapter of the national organization Trail Sisters, which aims to increase the participation and opportunity of womxn in trail running and hiking. To break through long standing barriers, Trail Sisters generates educational content and resources, while fostering an inspirational community that encourages self advocacy and lifelong friendships. Trail Sisters Boston hosts womxn only, no drop runs at least twice a month at locations in and around Boston and hopes especially to welcome more BIPOC and queer womxn to the trails.
Maurice Lowman (he/him/his), Marathon Panda: Maurice brings his passion to every run, and is dedicated to delivering positivity and hope throughout the running community with his story of overcoming life's adversities while being embraced in the local running scene.
Su Mitra (she/her/hers), Pride on Foot: Su is co founder of Pride On Foot, a group dedicated to helping run clubs and fitness organizations become more LGBTQIA+ inclusive. As an ultra runner who has completed distances over 100 miles she has often encountered harassment while at races. Advocating for the recognition of and the equal treatment of all gender groups is at the core of her work. She is also the founder of the Davis Square Runners out of Somerville, Massachusetts, and has been an Athlete Ally Ambassador since 2019. When she’s not out running through the woods barefoot, she’s at home fixing up her 18th century farmhouse.
