​We are excited to bring the Trail Running Film Festival to the Boston area on Sunday, May 18, 2025! The Boston screening is co hosted by Latino Outdoors Boston and the Trail Animals Running Club.​

Event Details:​

The afternoon will kick off with an optional shakeout run (around 5K) at 4:30 p.m., followed by the film screening starting at 5:30 p.m. and wrapping up by 7:30 p.m. The film festival entails six short documentaries ranging from 5 minutes to 33 minutes, featuring inspiring stories from the global trail running community. We will also be giving away some awesome prizes at intermission! Roundhead Brewing Company's kitchen will be open until 7:00 p.m. and participants are encouraged to order food and drinks before the film screening (or during the intermission). We are grateful to our friends at Roundhead Brewing Company for providing their welcoming space to share these films!

Latino Outdoors Boston is a chapter of Latino Outdoors, a nonprofit whose mission is to inspire, connect, and engage Latino communities in the outdoors and embrace cultura y familia as part of the outdoor narrative.
About the Trail Animals Running Club:
The Trail Animals Running Club is a nonprofit in the Greater Boston region that hosts free group runs and low cost events and aims to act as community stewards by providing equitable access to trail running and promoting positive trail running culture.

The film festival creators accomplish this by documenting the culture of trail running, supporting filmmakers and creatives, and hosting events that bring our community together. We are committed to promoting inclusivity, adventure, wilderness, art, and diversity across the trail and ultra community.​
